Tasting Notes:

  • Eye: Deep amber.
  • Nose: Abounding with sweet aromas of delicate honey, floral notes of apple blossom and some dried red fruits.
  • Taste: Rich palate of deep fruit notes of baked plums and ripe red grapes.
  • Finish: Lingering finish of rich, dark chocolate.

Additional Notes:

  • Matured in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in ex-Oloroso Sherry Casks.
  • Dublin Liberties Distillery sources all of its malt from Irish farmers and draw their water from their own well within the distillery, which fell as rainwater here over 10,000 years ago.
  • The distillery is a state of the art distillery nestled in the heart of The Liberties in Dublin City Centre.
