- Taste: Bright, green apples, toasted coconut continuing from the nose. The influence of fresh oak is clear: with rye grass developing to lemongrass.
- Finish: A measure of salinity and minerality that makes it very moreish.

- The Hanson is named after J. J. Corry’s one-in-law who was a revenue man in the early 1900s known locally in Cooraclare as “The Gauger Hanson.”
- Blend of Irish Grain Whiskey from multiple distilleries.
