- Nose: Chocolate with tropical fruitiness
- Taste: Allspice notes balanced by orange pekoe tea, cherry cobbler, and touches of malt and nuts
- Finish: Dark, oily, long with bitter chocolate

- Named after Daniel Kinahan, who founded the original distillery on Trinity Street in Dublin in 1779
- LL stands for Lord Lieutenant who would order barrels of the whiskey for himself when it first came out in 1779
